"Once the design was in place, she [Christine] had to take on the permitting process for a housing project that did not fit into any conventional category. ABOUT.

18031316335158005.jpg

A licensed New Mexico Architect with more than sixteen years of professional experience across a broad spectrum of architectural practice. I founded Rhosyn Studio in 2026 after many years of independent work, during which I completed projects ranging from small residential additions to full commercial design packages, as-built documentation, and large-scale competition proposals. One of my most meaningful endeavors has been the renovation of my own home—a historic 1920s bungalow that my partner and I have been thoughtfully restoring since 2020.

Before establishing Rhosyn Studio, I served as a Project Architect and Marketing Lead at Formative Architecture for four and a half years. Prior to that, I spent seven years with the award-winning Baker Architecture + Design, working first as an Intern Architect and later as a Project Architect. Across both firms, I contributed to the design and delivery of a wide array of educational, civic, residential, and commercial projects.

My professional skill set is intentionally broad and adaptable. Whether conducting facility assessments, developing marketing proposals, producing comprehensive construction document packages, coordinating consultants, administering construction, selecting furniture and finishes, providing BIM training, or undertaking research and documentation, I approach each task with precision and enthusiasm. I am committed to supporting both my team and the profession through multidisciplinary engagement.

As a LEED AP BD+C, I have participated in the design and documentation of numerous LEED-certified projects and remain committed to advancing sustainable and resilient design practices.

A central tool throughout my career has been Autodesk Revit, which I have used and taught for over ten years. My expertise spans schematic modeling, construction documentation, interdisciplinary coordination, and user training. I currently teach both introductory and advanced Revit courses at the University of New Mexico, where I guide students in developing practical BIM proficiency supported by strong foundations in drafting, modeling, and construction principles.

In addition to Revit, I am experienced with Lumion, Twinmotion, Rhino, V-Ray, AutoCAD, and the Adobe and Microsoft Office suites.

I hold a Master of Architecture from the University of New Mexico, along with a Graduate Certificate in Preservation and Regionalism. I have a particular passion for adaptive reuse and preservation work, and I look forward to continuing to grow, learn, and contribute through the evolving practice of Rhosyn Studio.
